As time goes by, the so called Jiu Jitsu also known as the Mixed Martial arts was developed into a trendy activity for self defense purposes. Because of its being well-known and influential, many people became curious in joining JJ competitions. But every good fighter needs a Jiu Jitsu Gi or Jiu Jitsu Kimono as important addition to their kit. And to be able to achieve maximum performance, a custom Jiu Jitsu Gi is a great help.

BJJ Gi is preferable to a usual karate kimono, for it has greater defiant quality that enables a long session of grappling. BJJ is very dissimilar from Judo traditional kimono having tighter cut favoring development in ground fighting and making harder to strangle. This is better than having other BJJ GIs, as the custom fit to your capacity and the specifications.

If a fighter plans to buy a custom-made outfit, they need to know what their measurements are. Remember not to take it alone, for it will be inaccurate. Most importantly, you have to specifically tell the designer of the design and other specifications needed for the custom Jiu Jitsu Gi. Gi jackets made from single, double, gold and pearl weaves and some even made fully from rip stop. Different weaves have different characteristics. Single weave: least durable, light and flexible. Double weave: offers greatest resiliency, weighty and less flexible that causes difficulties in making moves. Hybrid/gold/platinum weave: it is a compromise between single weave and double weave. Other special weave: summer (preferable in warm climate), competition (not easy to take hold of).

Likewise, you must choose what kind of custom Jiu Jitsu Gi you want to own. Gi has two main cuts to be precise, the loose cut and the competition cut. The competition cut has a more tailored fit and is shorter on the trousers and back skirt. It gives the opponent less stuff to hold and grasp because of its being fit to the combatant's body. Shifting to the loose cut, characteristics given by its name, it's slit is looser and so you will sense its loose-fitting quality. It gives more room to move around when transitioning between different moves and attacks.

Determining the fabrics, materials, lining of lapel, waist drawstring, weight and material of trousers and any branding and embroidery also, should be considered in designing a bjj kimono. Quality embroidery work inserts a touch of style and class to your branding work out. Stitching the designs into your Gi is favorable than using paint which can be removed or becomes vague after many washes unlike the stitched one which can last long.

In the Jiu Jitsu competition, one combatant is normally asked to wear blue gloves and the other fighter is asked to wear a pair of red glove, so that arbitrator and spectator know who gets the point. It is for the sake of distinction between two fighters. Custom Jiu Jitsu Gi is also able to supply this pair of gloves.

In a Jiu Jitsu battle, the combatant must feel the comfort and convenience in the kimono he is wearing because it can shape his performance. And that's what a custom Jiu Jitsu Gi does.

If you find the said activity interesting, you will certainly experience the excitement and satisfaction that the prosperous inheritance of Jiu Jitsu presents. And to be able to do this a comfortable custom Jiu Jitsu Gi  will help tremendously.
